COVID 19 Vaccine Information
Currently Metrolina Nephrology DOES NOT have the COVID Vaccine
MNA is advising all our patients to receive the COVID19 vaccination when available
For Patients Currently on a Transplant List
If you choose to get the vaccine, please call your transplant coordinator, at your transplant center
Your decision to get the vaccine will not affect your place on the list or your eligibility for transplant
For More Information from the CDC on the COVID19 vaccine, please follow this link: CDC COVID19 Vaccine
For Patients who ALREADY have a Transplant
The American Society of Transplant recommends that you and your families be vaccinated
We suggest you wait 3 months after you have been transplanted to receive the vaccine
If you choose to be vaccinated, please alert your transplant team. We recommend increased monitoring of your transplant.
